The comprehensive report outlines the potential benefits of Building Information Modelling (BIM) along the life-cycle of industrial plants from Front-End-Loading through Engineering, Procurement and Construction to Operation & Maintenance. The software appplications that integrate with BIM are specified in overall six dimensions, including time (4D-BIM), cost (5D-BIM) and asset management (6D-BIM). The report also draws a roadmap for the implementation of BIM in accordance with the internationally recognized standards and under consideration of cybersecurity.

EPC 4.0 – Unleashing the hidden potential

ProjectTeam® has taken the lead in an innovation project to develop a business blueprint for industrial projects and operations, from EPC to O&M. Cooperation Partners in this venture are M8International (Erlangen), TIBA Managementberatung (Munich), maexpartners (Düsseldorf) and D1g1talAgenda (Baden Baden). The objective of this project is to describe concrete measures that have the potential to unleash the hidden potentials in our industry and to save up to 50% of CAPEX. The result of this study has been published in April 2019.

CEPM India and ProjectTeam® signed Memorandum of Understanding

Centre for Excellence in Project Management (CEPM, India) and ProjectTeam® (Germany) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding titled “Driving forward project management excellence for the EPC industry in India”. The MoU was signed during the 26th Global Symposium on Project Management in New Delhi on December 11th, 2018 in the presence of Mr. TKA Nair, advisor to former Prime Minister of India, and endorsed by Adesh Jain, former president of IPMA and chairman of the International Institute of Projects and Program Management (i2P2M).
